Teodor Durski was born in 1976. He studied at the Textile and FashionFaculty of the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódż in 1998-2003. In 2003 he graduated with distinction in tapestry and carpet design. He broaden his diploma adding painting and print. He practices print and painting. He had a dozen of individual exhibitions and took part in numerous group exhibitions in Poland and abroad. He was rewarded with the Special Prize at the Strzemiński Competition (Łódż, 2002), the Main Award of the Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts at the Strzemiński Competition (Łódż, 2003), the Special Award at the Polish Print Triennial (Katowice, 2003), III Award of the IV All-Polish Print Competition (Tczew, 2004), the Honorary Medal of the XII Competition of Small Prints (Łódż, 2005).
