Justyna Warchala born in 1984. She studied at the Print Department of The Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. In 2007 she got the Ministry of Culture Scholarship. In the same year she was awarded Grand Prix of the Print of The Year Competition and with the II Statutory Award in 2008 (Cracow). At the Triennial of Polish Print in Katowice ( 2009) she was nominated to the Founded Award. She won a distinction for the Print of the Young and in In 2010 she was awarded Grand Prix at The Print of the Month competition. She uses linocut as her favourite technique.
The artist had one individual exhibition in Jan Fejkiel Gallery so far. She also took part in collective shows organised by the gallery, i.a.: Visible/ Invisible, Turchin Center for Visual Arts, (2012/13 Boone NC, USA).
